We would be happy to work on this sharing method if a group of organizations could contribute to the development cost, which would not really be much -- only $1000 or so. Or an enterprising group could simply take the source code and add this feature, and we would then include it in future releases. I just can’t stop reading

DB sharing document location
This was an omission in the manual. All the 0.9 stuff was moved to our new server, at:
http://organizersdb.org/0.9
The document you want is at:
http://organizersdb.org/0.9/odbremote.pdf
Please note that there is another possibility for ODB sharing which is to keep the data file on a web server and modify the ODB code to "check out" the data file and download it to the local PC when ODB is started up and when an internet connection is present. There is code within ODB to download a file, supplying a password via FTP and there is even some code to do a download via secure FTP (SCP). The ODB code would have to also have a provision to upload and "check in" the modified database file after it is edited.
We would be happy to work on this sharing method if a group of organizations could contribute to the development cost, which would not really be much -- only $1000 or so. Or an enterprising group could simply take the source code and add this feature, and we would then include it in future releases.
