On June 2, 2006, we made the fifth release (RC5) of ODB version 1.0 available. This is a maintenance release that takes care of a few missing things in version 1.0. It also addresses 7 issues that endusers reported through the Mantis bug tracking system.
Details of what has changed and source code were posted on Sourceforge, at this link:

ODB should automatically notify you that the new version is available, sometime in the next 30 days. Just follow the instructions to download and install the update. To download the new release right away, go to www.organizersdb.org/download

New Features:
* Now you can create an informal salutation much more easily, just choose in the Title pulldown
* Adding an 'appeal code' on the fly when you are importing payments is now implemented
* Better phone calling sheets...
* Additional size for label printing
Serious problems fixed:
* The COUNTs of numbers of records in the Mass Action screen was inaccurate at times, which made it unclear how many records you were mass updating.
* occupation and date of birth and gender fields were NOT GETTING CLEARED from record to record
Key fixes:
* easier to save report data and open up in Excel from advanced search area. Also this button was not yet implemented for notes and pledges. It is now.
* no hourglass was showing on installation when downloading the DB drives
* Eric Weir helped me fix the bad templates
* took care of a blank line showing up on envelopes if street number/name missing
* Bugs reported by Jon, Susan fixed... loading payment queries was not working... and when you used the "moveup" moveup 8" button on the import screen the results were unpredictable
