Major Improvements to ODB SiteDear ODB Users: We now are going to roll out some long awaited improvements in the ODB software! 1) We have already completed a modest update to this web site. We've upgraded the version of Drupal that powering it to 4.6.10; we have improved the organization of the content in the Docs section, and we have added fancy navigation buttons under two sections thanks to our volunteer Nina Cuznar. 2) Will be be updating the ODB support pricing structure. Basic support pricing will go up in most cases however we have a commitment to make discounts available. The new prices will be posted on the site next week. 3) The last update is the much awaited release of ODB version 1.0.1. Final testing is now under way and there are about 25 minor improvements, and 2 major improvements. One major improvement is a totally revamped settings area -- see the attached screen shot!
The other major improvement is an overhaul in the thank you note generation code. It was rewritten to allow printing of any kind of form letter, while retaining backward compatibility with the existing ODB release. With the new 1.0.1 thank you code, any user may click on the 'Edit' button to modify an existing form letter. If you enable code changes in ODB (password might be required if you have it set that way) then you will have the ability to edit or add to the letters. As before the letters won't have any fancy fonts or styles (you will need to merge to Word or OpenOffice for that), but the plain Times text on your letterhead does produce a professional looking result!

The ODB forms are good but I had problems in the past with browser redirections on ODB based connections. Had some success with the google redirect virus removal and these helped with ODBC connections.
