I have been having the same problem for a while now - I am using ODB 1.0.2 and Windows XP Professional on 2 networked computers.

Unfortunately, I'm not completely up-to-date on the situation because I started working here around the same time we began having these technical issues. But here's what I know:

One of the computers on our network crashed, but we were able to rescue all data. I know the settings worked prior to my arrival because we have past activities, designations, etc. listed as well as specific designations for donations. However, since I arrived, we have not been able to open settings and receive the same error message as the user who started the thread. ("Runtime error '423': Property or method not found)

I have no real idea of whether this would be connected, but we also receive this message upon opening the database on either computer:
"Warning:\\Director\shareddocs\Donations Database\odbdata.odb is a database file for a later version of ODB than the one you have. You could try it, but there may be incompatibilities."

I have reinstalled ODB 1.0.2 on both computers, but that hasn't changed the situation.

Hi - sorry for the double post, but this one was getting a little outdated. I wanted anyone who could offer any help to know that I was still having this problem.

Unfortunately, the board couldn't wait to get the system running properly. They elected to change to another software/database program.

I continue to use ODB for Market Ministries in New Bedford, Massachusetts, which is a smaller database, on my personal computer and it works fine.

However, in a few minutes I am changing to a new computer and hope that the transition to this new piece of equipment won't interfere with ODB for Market Ministries. I'll be in touch.

It has happened with me as well, there are times when you are facing installation or data base related issues. Sometime you can have driver problems as well. Find canon drivers online for easy installation.
