We just began using ODB to track donors for a small community services nfp and have a list of about 100 donors entered for sending a New Years appeal. I was stymied when I couldn't get envelopes to print directly from ODB, mainly because there is not the normal style windows "printer selection" dialogue that lets you into printe preferencers with the paper size and orientation parts of the printer driver. What I was able to do to circumvent this was go into "Printers and Faxes" from the start menu (XP-Professional) before opening ODB and set up the parameters that I needed there as a new default setting for that printer and THEN open ODB and print the envelopes. Our development guru says using labels for a list as small as ours makes the solicitation look cheap and we should print envelopes as long as the printer can accommodate them. Only problem with this is remembering to go back and change the default setting when done with the envelopes. Any chance of the standard Printer Selection Window as a future feature?
