Removing "no newsletter" addresses from exported mailing list

Hi all,

I'm pulling together a mailing list for our current newsletter. I did this through using the Advanced Search tool and then exporting the information. I'd like to omit people on this list who have requested not to receive newsletters (categorized as "NN" (No Newsletters) in the Mail Category), but do not see a way to exclude these people in the Advanced Search Tool. Can you point me in the right direction to do this, or do I need also mark them as "no spam" in order to filter them out?
