Patty Freeman-Lynde has been the executive director since 2004 of the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Athens, an alliance of area congregations dedicated to helping homeless families. She holds a bachelor's degree from Middlebury College and a Master's in Social Work from the University of Georgia. Patty ran her own computer instruction business from 1998 to 2001. Judy was a co-founder of Boston Women's Health Book Collective in 1971 and a co-author of all editions of Our Bodies, Ourselves. Judy currently serves as Executive Director of the organization. She has primary responsibility for BWHBC's reproductive health advocacy efforts. Judy is an internationally known speaker on women's health issues and has appeared on numerous television and radio programs including Oprah, Donahue, the Today Show, Good Morning America, and NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw. As a health care educator and activist, she seeks to build coalitions and collaborative approaches that inspire women to change their lives, promote social change, and organize for improved health care.
